Two contestants will then again be cut from the season 4 of The Voice US so as to form the top 8. Before anything else, I will first share my thoughts about their most recent performances. Who nailed it? Who didn't?
If I am off to pick the top 3 performances of the night, Holly Tucker occupies one spot to it. I was moved by her performance. It was very pleasant to hear. I am really proud of her improvements. She showed the soft side of her and I am glad about it.
Next on my top list was Judith Hill. Her performance was flawless. She sang so good. Well, she always sings so good actually. The way she moved around the stage; the way she belted the song; the way she gave a taste of her own with the song, wow! It's impressive! Good job Judith!
Last, but definitely the best performance of the night for me goes to Michelle Chamuel. She nailed the song. She delivered a powerful performance. She could really shut down this entire competition. Among all the contestants left in the show, she was the one who sang so real, so authentic. She's perfect tonight!
Other contestants did also a fine job. I knew they need their best. It was really a matter of suitable song choice for me in order to belt other contestants.

Unfortunately, those two eliminated contestants were Vedo and Garrett Gardner. I thought both were incredible singers. Vedo was a magnificent performer. They just got horrible song choices and I think that really pulled them down. Over all, prior to their latest performances, no one surprised me very much.

The Voice US Season 4 Knockout Rounds - Surprise Happenings?
I would start off saying that this was the best season by far for me. I do believe it was brought by the incredible coaches this season. But hey, let's go back with the contestants and how they showcased their voices in the knockout round. I won't mention all but I will just pinpoint those who surprised me so let's start the ball rolling!
Amber Carrington was a bomb. She killed the song "I'm with you"! I would give an easy win for her in the knockout round.
Judith Hill, as well as Sarah Simmons still maintained their stellar performances. They were both incredible. Judith's rendition of "Always on my Mind" was just over the top. The way she sings, you could really resemble a star from her.
Garrett Gardner, the one who I believe did grew a lot from the blind audition up to now. Absolutely, he sang so good. He is getting better and better. I am a fan of him no matter what!
Kris Thomas, another amazing artist. His performance was very soulful. I had a great time listening to him. His uniqueness definitely edges him among all contestants.
More surprising performances? I would give it to Shasha Allen and Michelle Chamuel. These girls surprised me so much. Michelle blew me away. Her confidence was unmatched. She is my favorite in Team Usher.
Oh yeah, Shasha Allen. The girl stolen by Shakira from Team Adam. She sang perfectly in the knockout round. It was beautiful and mind blowing. I kind of remember Amanda Brown from her.
